Greetings to readers!
This submission was due two days ago. (I set firm deadlines for myself!) But the essay I was working on is nowhere near complete. Instead I'm publishing another collection of photos. These are from Los Angeles, my home for 30 years. I hope you enjoy them!
(1) A CVS pharmacy in Long Beach, CA, converted from a former doctor's office.
(2) A home around the corner from my apartment that put me in the mind of old Hollywood.
(3) The facade to a building in downtown Long Beach.
(4) Another Hollywood photo!
How I miss pacing the streets in LA and finding buildings awash in casual luxury. But there is no shortage of photo opportunities in Louisville. With its cemeteries, parks, churches and historic homes. Louisville maintains a sense of architectural history that LA can't match.
Hope all have a great week!
I love your black and white photos. You are very talented in capturing the light and angle of subjects!
